Bainbridge Island FC offers several avenues for individuals keen on enhancing the soccer journey of our young players! Whether you aspire to coach recreational or select soccer teams, participate as a volunteer during events, or contribute to our board, there are numerous ways for you to engage with us.

We are looking for an Assistant Director of Coaching-Recreational Soccer who is passionate about our community, soccer and embraces a culture of inclusivity and fun for everyone interested in soccer, regardless of their abilities or experience level.
Job Description:
Compensation: $20,000
Service period: February to November
This position is eligible for professional development stipend.

We are always looking for patient people who are passionate about soccer and wanting to share their passion with our community recreational players. We have seasonal coaching positions for individuals looking to support Bainbridge Island FC's spring (April-June) and fall (Sept-Nov) recreational soccer seasons. The Bainbridge Island FC's player pathway and coaching curriculum supports coaches, creates training plans and opportunities to grow and develop as a coach, with the support of the club's Director of Coaching.

Are you passionate about soccer and looking to get involved in a longer season with a team of committed staff, summer tournaments, league play and State Cups? Bainbridge Island FC select coaching staff receive a monthly stipend, and coaching education program and are supported by the club's Director of Coaching.

2025 Board Open Positions: Vice President (Executive Committee) – The Vice President shall: (a) perform duties of the President in President's absence; (b) attend regularly and report when appropriate at Board meetings; (c) act as a liaison between BIFC and NSYSA Vice President of Competition; and (d) track and manage implementation of BIFC’s long term strategic plan. Secretary (Executive Committee) - The Secretary shall: (a) record the minutes of all meetings and distribute to the Board and NSYSA Board of Directors prior to the next club meeting; (b) keep a record (paper or electronic) of BIFC correspondence; (c) distribute minutes, announcements and information to team representatives/coaches as directed by the Board via the BIFC website; (d) maintain a current list of Board Members (with addresses and phone numbers) and provide a copy to the NSYSA secretary; (e) schedule meeting rooms for Board meetings and the annual Members meeting; (f) maintain a permanent record of all Conduct Review Board and Board of Directors rulings and findings and all related correspondence by all parties, (g) maintain a paper and electronic (pdf) copy of BIFC bylaw, policy, meeting minutes and other relevant documents. Vice President of Select Program (Executive Committee) – The Vice President of Select Program shall: (a) attend regularly and report when appropriate at Board meetings; (b) oversee all aspects of the BIFC Select and Development Academy’s activities; (c) chair the Selection Committee to recruit, interview and pick Select program coaches; (d) oversee the Select coach selection process; (e) schedule, organize and oversee, with the Director of Coaching, the Select tryouts; (f) work with the Treasurer to monitor income and expenses of the Select program; (g) participate in any judicial proceedings and disputes regarding all BIFC Select teams, players, parents, or coaches; (h) approve Select team rosters; and (i) sit on the Island Cup Committee. Other Board Open Positions (non Executive Committee - appointed by Board) :
Director of Volunteers - The Board may appoint a Director of Volunteers, whose responsibilities shall be stated in a written description approved by the Board. Those responsibilities may include (a) working with the Board Members to provide assistance on games, events, and skills camps; and (b) maintaining a record of volunteers and their hours donated.
Director of Communications and Marketing - The Board may appoint a Director of Communications and Marketing whose responsibilities shall be stated in a written description approved by the Board. Those responsibilities may include tracking and managing implementation of communication and marketing within BIFC's long term strategic plan.
