Development Academy
Our Development Academy is an ideal and vibrant place for the player who wants to be introduced to the game, play with friends and participate within a developmentally-focused environment. The Development Academy is a competitive soccer program for children in the U9 and U10 age groups. Development Academy teams play 7v7 soccer.
Bainbridge Island FC is a member club of Washington Youth Soccer, and our DA teams play within the North Puget Sound League.
Our Summer/Fall DA teams will play at least five of their 10 fall games on Bainbridge Island. The remaining games will be played against our partner clubs on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas or against Seattle-based clubs.
Winter DA Teams will play a six-game season. At least three of those games will be played on Bainbridge Island. The remaining three games will be played against our partner clubs on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas or against Seattle-based clubs.
- No players are cut from the Development Academy.
- Players of all skill levels are welcome to play in the Development Academy, but there are a finite number of roster spots.
- Development Academy roster spots are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Friend requests are not accepted for the Development Academy.
- All Development Academy sessions, winter and summer, are outdoors.
