The BIFC Tradition

Founded in 1983, Bainbridge Island FC (BIFC) has been serving the soccer community of Bainbridge Island for over 40 years. We continuously strive to provide an inclusive, welcoming soccer environment that meets each player at the challenge level appropriate for them. Bainbridge Island FC is a competitive and recreational soccer club serving Bainbridge Island and the greater area, including Kitsap, Jefferson, and Clallam counties. Our teams participate within Washington Youth Soccer in the North Puget Sound League and the Northwest Sound Youth Soccer Association.

At BIFC we believe everyone has an opportunity to be involved in soccer, regardless of ability, gender, or disability.

The BIFC Way

BIFC is dedicated to developing young soccer players in Kitsap County, evolving from a recreational program to a primary provider of competitive soccer following the launch of select soccer on the island in 2000. Currently serving approximately 1,000 youth players with varying training and game opportunities, BIFC continually assesses and improves its instruction and development strategies through the Blueprint for Development—an evolving document that reflects the organization’s commitment to growth and quality. We invite members to review this blueprint to better understand BIFC’s approach to player development.

“We are committed to building champions on and off the soccer field”

“It’s about achieving our goals, but doing it in the right way!”
