International Tour

Bainbridge Island FC’s goal from a young age is to instill a love of the game. Our International tour program allows our players and parents to visit the home of football (soccer), building on this love for football by visiting the homes of some of the biggest clubs in the world. We will attend professional games, and training sessions, play in youth games and our own 6v6 tournament, learn more about the various cities and so much more.

Destinations: Cambridge, Chester, Liverpool, London & Manchester

Dates: March 31 – April 11, 2027

Who: U14 Girls & Boys

Fee: $2750 (10% deposit to register)
Fee does not include air fare or UK entry fee

Passport Information: Please make sure your passport is up to date with 6 months beyond trip dates.

THIS TOUR IS ONLY OPEN TO PLAYERS WHO ARE PLAYING IN A SELECT SOCCER PROGRAM.

Tour Registration is open May 12 through May 29. Players must be playing on a U14 team to travel. Chaperone applications will be available shortly. This tour is only open to players who are playing in a Select Soccer program.

FAQs

Should I organize travel insurance? YES, it is always a good idea.
Should I expect to walk on this tour? YES, there will be a lot of walking.
What will the weather be like? The weather is very much like the Pacific Northwest, be prepared for sunshine, and showers all in one day!
How many bags should I bring? Please don’t over pack!! One bag for luggage and a backpack.
Do I need to bring a ball? YES, deflate the ball for travel to and from the UK.
Should I bring a water bottle? YES
Will there be laundry facilities? We can confirm there will be laundry at the Youth Hostels in Liverpool and London, we’re awaiting confirmation for Manchester.
Which meals will be covered? Breakfast will be available at the Youth Hostels. Please check tour the tour meal plan for updates.

CODE OF CONDUCT: To ensure a safe, fun, and educational experience, all participants in this trip — players, coaches, and chaperones — will be required to sign a code of conduct before departure. Violation of this code of conduct could result in the participant being removed from the trip and asked to return home at their expense.

SAFESPORT BACKGROUND CHECKS: All travelers age 18 years and older must complete a Safesport background check

TRAVEL PROTECTION: Bainbridge Island FC is not responsible for cancellation expenses that you might incur before or during our trip. You may want to check first to see if your current insurance policy covers travel abroad, but we have found that most do not. We strongly encourage considering taking out travel interruption and evacuation insurance to cover any emergencies abroad such as evacuation, or reimbursement for cancellation due to your own illness or an illness in your family.
