Ian enters his sixteenth season with Bainbridge Island FC as coach and the club’s longest serving Director of Coaching, he has successfully coached many teams winning State titles with Girls 2002 and Boys 2005, his boys 2008 team represented WA in the Regional President’s Cup tournament in Salt Lake City.

Born and raised on the Isle of Bute, Scotland, Ian played at youth and semi-professional level and has been coaching for over 35 years. 

Ian has a Bachelor's degree in Sports Coaching and Sports Development and the following soccer licenses:

Prior to joining Bainbridge, Ian held Directors of Coaching positions in Minnesota, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he coached at Augsburg College and Hanover College and as Varsity Coach of Bainbridge HS. He continues to lead coach education clinics for United Soccer Coaches.

Ian and his family live in Poulsbo, his wife Erin is a teacher at Bainbridge HS. The McCallum family are huge Liverpool fans.
